Quick Overview: Smile Sugar Bakery was in need of some packaging materials. Known for their cookies, they needed packaging that was easy to take on the go. The box template (shown as Figure C below) chosen was a purse box. Shown above is a mockup made in Adobe Dimensions and shown below is the package design made using Adobe InDesign.
A little more background: The above packaging shows a fun and upbeat brand. Within the packaging, there is a 100% colored magenta spot colored line. This represents the cut line for the packaging as we were required to hand fold the product. I felt like this was a great fit for a bakery that focuses on customer service. So, why choose the name "Smile Sugar Bakery" and why choose chocolate chip cookies? For starters, most people love chocolate chips. As for myself who has a huge sweet tooth, I couldn't resist! Secondly, I was actually inspired by a sidewalk drawing someone did in chalk on their driveway. It had said, "Smile, yours is my favorite." I had been walking when I saw it and it just clicked! From there, I was ready to work. Attached below is the template that we were asked to follow.
